THE ROOSEVELT HOTEL
Entrance through the traditional revolving doors of The Roosevelt Hotel into its gilded neoclassical lobby still recalls the grandeur of old New York – a reminder of why it was nicknamed, when opened in 1924, the ‘Grand Dame of Madison Avenue’. It has provided background for many films and TV shows over the decades, most recently Mad Men, that saga of the NY advertising world in the 1960’s.
The Roosevelt also offers several options for small gatherings and socialising. In addition to the Lobby and Palm Court reception areas, there is the Vander Bar, a ground floor cafe interfacing with the street, the Madison Club Lounge, offering a mahogany-panelled, club ambience, and, most spectacularly, the hotel's rooftop lounge-bar known as Mad46 which offers views of Midtown Manhattan.
The principal auditorium for our conference will be the hotel’s Terrace Ballroom, which will also host the Saturday evening Gala dinner and concert.
The bedroom accommodation reserved for the conference registrants will be Superior Kings.
All rooms and suites provide HD Flat Screen televisions equipped with cable, two telephone lines with voicemail, high speed wired and wireless Internet access, individual climate control, ergonomic desk chair, in-room hairdryers, irons and boards and in-room safes.
